Local property decisions deserve local evidence. Arrowtown’s sales volumes can be small, so a single month’s mix of homes can make a median move sharply. To understand your own position, compare recent sales of similar properties, competing listings and current buyer feedback with a local salesperson.
REINZ reported 92 residential sales across the district in September 2026, with a median sale price of $1,505,000. The district median was 1% lower than the $1,520,000 recorded in September 2025. The district includes places beyond Arrowtown and this is not an Arrowtown-only price or a valuation of an individual property.

A median is the middle sale price in the set of properties sold. It can change because a different mix of properties sold, as well as because of market conditions. Outlook, land, condition, location and planning considerations all affect comparisons. Ask for evidence relevant to your home rather than applying the district median directly.
